Who's On?
Shin-Soo Choo — Since the All-Star break, he's been the Rangers' best hitter and maybe one of the best offensive forces in baseball. In his last six games, he's hitting .368 with a .571 on-base percentage, a double, triple, homer and four RBIs. He has eight walks in that time with three strikeouts. He's finally the player worth his $140 million contract.
Mitch Moreland — He's batting .357 over his past five games with a couple of pinch-hits mixed in. He homered on Tuesday night and saw another one go mere inches foul. If he heats up again, look out.
Shawn Tolleson — After a rough stretch in which he was simply overworked, the Rangers' closer has found his groove again. In his last three appearances, he has three saves and has allowed just one hit to go with four strikeouts in his three innings of work.
Who's Off?
Elvis Andrus — The Rangers shortstop has, like Choo, been a much different player since the All-Star break, and for the better. But right now, he's in the midst of a cold snap with a .182 batting average in his last six games.
