Where Are the Rangers' Relievers? Check Beantown

Right now, the Texas Rangers' bullpen looks something like this: Neftali Feliz, Shawn Tolleson, Roman Mendez, Alex Claudio, Kyuji Fujikawa, Phil Klein and Michael Kirkman.

Now that you're all finished with your collective *GULP* you can wonder what happened to the Rangers' bullpen, which used to be an unquestioned strength of the team. Well, you can look no further than the Boston Red Sox to find some of those names.

Due to trades and free agent signings, the Boston bullpen is shaping up as the Rangers' bullpen, circa 2012.

Robbie Ross Jr. was traded to the Red Sox earlier this winter for No. 5 starter candidate Anthony Ranaudo. Alexi Ogando was non-tendered by the Rangers and signed a one-year deal with Boston, and Koji Uehara was a Rangers' cast-off and went on to be the Red Sox closer and win the 2013 World Series.

The Rangers might have some young stars on their hands in guys like Mendez and Tolleson, but right now, it'd be nice to have some established veterans in place like Boston does.
