Thursday Will Debut New Rangers

Manager Ron Washington is shaking things up with the lineup on Thursday.

After taking the first two games of the season, Manager Ron Washington is shaking things up in the name of good baseball.

Thursday, Texas will start Andruw Jones, 13 time-Gold Glove winning shortstop, Omar Vizquel and Taylor Teagarden, who replaced starter Jarrod Saltalamacchia last night.

Saltalamacchia has an ear infection, which was doing battle with his equilibrium on Wednesday.

"I would like them all to get their feet wet before we hit the road and get a chance to play in front of the hometown fans," Manager, Ron Washington said. "Every team I've ever been on, the manager's tried to get everybody in the first series and see where it goes from there."

In any case, whatever they do, they probably should be wearing red; Texas is 2-0 for the first time since 2000 after Wednesday night, when they politely declined the blue hats and socks they were scheduled to wear.
