Three Phases: Cowboys-Saints

Every week, we'll grade the Cowboys on the three phases of the weekend's game.

Offense: C

The offensive line is struggling. The running game was terrible once again outside of an early 45-yard run from third-down back Lance Dunbar, who ended up leaving the game with injury and is probably done for the season. Brandon Weeden was better and found some of his wide receivers, eventually making a clutch TD pass to Terrance Williams on fourth down to tie the game in the waning seconds of regulation.

Defense: F

Drew Brees marched down the field with no timeouts on what should've been a game-winning drive in the final seconds — reminiscent of how Tony Romo toyed with the Giants in Week 1. That, of course, failed thanks to a missed field goal. But it didn't matter because on the second play of overtime, C.J. Spiller was left all alone and scurried 80 yards to paydirt, and a Saints win.

Special teams: B

Dan Bailey and Chris Jones did their thing in the kicking game, and the coverage units didn't blow anything. They took a big blow when they lost Dunbar.
