Three Phases: Cowboys-Packers

Every week, we'll grade the Cowboys on the three phases of the weekend's game.

Offense: F
Darren McFadden put up 111 yards on nine carries, thanks to two long runs, but his first set up the Cowboys with a great chance to take a 7-0 lead before Matt Cassel threw a pick in the end zone. The Cowboys also failed, yet again, on short-yardage situations with just 1 yard needed for a first down in what has becoming an alarming trend this year. Now, the Cowboys are 30th in the NFL in scoring. That's pathetic, kind of like Dez Bryant's one-catch, 9-yard outing.

Defense: C
The Cowboys' defense showed some life, but ultimately they got worn down thanks to being on the field for more than 80 snaps — yes, 80! Is that their fault? Not entirely, but they just couldn't get off the field to save their lives as the Packers out-TOPed them to death. They did have a big goal-line stand mixed in.

Special teams: C
I mean, whatever... Chris Jones punted seven times and had three dropped inside the opponent's 20-yard line. Dan Bailey made an extra point. Hooray.
