There's Already a Waiting List to be a Member of the Cowboys Club in Frisco

I drive by the Cowboys Club at The Star in Frisco regularly and am constantly amazed that the growing, massive structure is merely a training facility. Lots of fans, apparently, are doing more than looking.

The Cowboys announced Monday morning that they’ve sold out of memberships to The Star and have established a waiting list. To get on the list to become a member, fans can call 817-892-4400 and put down a $250 deposit.

Sorry critics, but that 4-12 season and the continuing leadership of Jerry Jones has done little to stunt interest in America’s Team.

Cowboys Club membership allows members access (complete with valet parking) to bars, restaurants, fitness facilities, a corporate meeting area and a rooftop pool and viewing area overlooking the team’s practice fields.

The Cowboys began accepting members in September and sold out Saturday afternoon.

"Our fans’ reaction to the Cowboys Club has been overwhelming," said Chad Estis, executive vice president of business operations, Dallas Cowboys. "We knew that we had created something special but to see all of our memberships snapped up so quickly points to the deep relationship we’ve built with our fans in the area and across the country."
