Schedule Announcement Delayed (Again)

The Dallas Cowboys' opponent on Thanksgiving Day 2010 at JerryWorld will be...decided at a later date, apparently.

The NFL was initially set to announce the triumvirate of turkey day football games, opening weekend match-ups and other highlights of the 2010 schedule on Monday. On Monday afternoon, Mike Klis, of the Denver Post, reported that the announcement had been pushed back to Tuesday.

Tuesday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle Tweeted from the spring meetings in Orlando that the announcement has yet again been postponed. "NFL just told us there will be no announcement today on opening-weekend games," McClain said. "That means to Thanksgiving games, too."

So we still don't know exactly who the Dallas Cowboys' opponent will be on Thanksgiving Day; we do know--probably--that the NFL is having some sort of scheduling issue.

Impatient fans can take some degree of solace in that traditionally, the full schedule of games comes out in April.

The Cowboys' opponents for the 2010 season were announced way back in January, leading many fans to speculate on the Thanksgiving Day game. The possible candidates are the Giants, Eagles, Redskins, Bears, Lions, Jaguars, Titans and Saints, each of which will visit Cowboys Stadium in 2010.

Since this announcement is playing the Godot to our collective Vladimir and Estragon, we may as well ask: Who do you want see square off with Dallas at palatial JerryWorld on Thanksgiving Day 2010?
