Brett Parsons' double down the right field line in the sixth gave Texas A&M a 2-1 victory over Stephen F. Austin Tuesday night.
The Aggies (8-2) had tied the game earlier in the inning on Brodie Greene's solo home run. Brooks Raley walked and came home on Parsons' double.
Stephen F. Austin loaded the bases in the bottom of the eighth, but Travis Starling came in to strike out two and get his third save of the season.
Sean Meyers had given the Lumberjacks (3-5) a 1-0 lead on a homer in the fourth.
Clayton Ehlert (1-0), who allowed one run on five hits and struck out nine batters in 7 1-3 innings, picked up the win.
Ryan Priest (0-2) took the loss, giving up two runs on 10 hits in 6 2-3 innings.
