TCU Completes Big 2018 Class on National Signing Day

National Signing Day turned into a big win for TCU.

The Frogs had four players sign on the dotted line on Wednesday to complete a 22-member class for 2018. This year’s recruiting class, which includes nine four-star signees, is ranked No. 25 nationally by 247sports.com.

TCU kept the Texas Connects Us train rolling with 13 of the 22 signees coming from the Lone Star State.  Among those who signed today was Euless Trinity defensive lineman Izaih Filikitonga. The 6-foot-2, 237-pound Filikitonga was ranked as the No. 5 outside linebacker in Texas and No. 82 in the nation. He also had offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Arkansas. His dad, Sunia “Junior” Filikitonga, played at Abilene Christian and signed a free-agent contract in 1998 with the Dallas Cowboys.

Other signees from National Signing Day included Aldien MacArthur (Houston, TX) linebacker Jacoby Simpson, West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA) wide receiver Derius Davis and Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) defensive back Ar’Darius Washington.
