Sunday's Rain Will be Hell in June

While the Rangers were chillin' in the clubhouse on Sunday and probably called it a day early heading into their scheduled off-day on Monday, they had to have been thinking about what kind of retribution they'll face down the line.

Sure, Sunday's rainout was a nice break from what had been a brutal run of their schedule, but they probably would've just assumed wait until Monday to get that breather.

Now, there's going to be hell to pay come June.

The Rangers' series finale against Baltimore on Sunday was rescheduled for Monday, June 20, which was a mutual off-day for the teams. Now, that means the Rangers will play the maximum allowed 20 games in 20 days from June 3-22.

That's going to include four games at home against the Astros and three games on the road at St. Louis, but will also have some nice breaks with a two-game set at home against the Reds and a 10-game road trip, which includes seven games against Seattle and Oakland.

So was Sunday afternoon nice and relaxing? Probably so, but the Rangers will pay for it.
