The Stars will open the second round of the NHL playoffs Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in St. Louis, the team tweeted Tuesday night.
Dallas beat the Nashville Predators four games to two in the first round, winning Game 6 on a John Klingberg overtime goal. The Blues beat the Winnipeg Jets four games to two, behind a Jaden Schwartz Game 6 hat trick.
The Stars' Ben Bishop was one of the top goaltenders in the first round, ranking second among playoff teams with a .945 save percentage and tied for second in goals against average (1.90). St. Louis netminder Jordan Binnington ranked seventh in goals against average (2.63) and saved 90.8% of the shots he faced.
As for top offensive players on both sides, Dallas' Alexander Radulov has the highest plus-minus of anyone in the playoffs at +7. The Blues' Alex Pietrangelo is tied for second among postseason players with six assists.
