Stars Bring Back Familiar Face

Dallas Trade for Daryl Sydor

Darryl Sydor is back with the Dallas Stars in a deal that sent veteran defenseman Philippe Boucher (boo-'SHAY) to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Sydor won a Stanley Cup with Dallas in 1999 during an eight-year run with the Stars. The 36-year-old is making his third stint with the Stars after also spending the 2006-07 season in Dallas.

Boucher skated in 16 games for Dallas this season. He joined the Stars in 2002 and was an All-Star in the 2006-2007 season, when his 19 goals tied a Dallas franchise record for defensemen.
