Anyone who has ever stood near Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant could tell you he’s built like if RoboCop had been designed to catch footballs instead of police the streets of Detroit, so the fact he made it on Sports Illustrated’s list of the Top 50 fittest male athletes in the world didn’t come as that much of a shock.
At 28th on the list, between American bobsledder Steve Langton and Swedish soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Bryant was one of 11 NFL players to make the cut. He finished higher than all but four of his NFL brethren, with Houston’s J.J. Watt (13), Seattle’s Kam Chancellor (14), Buffalo’s Marquise Goodwin (18) and Washington’s Vernon Davis (20) beating him out.
Bryant finished higher than Cam Newton, Odell Beckham Jr. and Russell Wilson, among others.
Strength, speed, agility and endurance were taken into account in the making of the list, which was topped by World Record-holding American decathlete Ashton Eaton.

"That's pretty good," Bryant said of his place on the list, per ESPN Dallas. "But it sounds like I have a little work to do."
