Romo's Sweetheart Makes Return to Reality TV

Jessica Simpson will be the star of a new VH1 reality show, airing in 2010

Straying from its time tested washed-up-rock-star-looking-for-love format, VH1 will soon become the basic cable network for supposed Cowboys distractions.

Terrell Owens’ reality show is set to debut later this summer.

And now, Jessica Simpson, resident Daisy Duke and Tony Romo’s favorite singer/actress, is set to make her return to reality television with a show set for a 2010 debut.

Simpson was the ditz-tastic star of the MTV show "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," which chronicled the ultimately doomed marriage between she and singer/newly anointed One Tree Hill star Nick Lachey.

In the new show, titled “The Price of Beauty,” Simpson will travel the globe, meeting women and discussing fashion and differing conceptions of beauty.

"I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful,” Simpson said. “But I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect."

No word as of yet if Tony Romo will make an appearance in the show, although it can be assumed that Romo-watchdogs -- the people who decry his penchant for golfing and his choice of significant others -- will be watching with wide eyes.
