Burlington, Wisconsin native Tony Romo isn’t overly concerned with the weather in Green Bay, where the temperature at kickoff on Sunday is expected to be lingering in the teens.
“You just learn through experience and through the years how to do subtle things,” Romo said of playing in the cold, per the Dallas Morning News. “There are little things you can do that help you. That’s just part of playing in the conditions.”
The man who will be delivering Romo the ball on Sunday is fellow Wisconsin native, center Travis Frederick, who believes the Cowboys will benefit to some degree from the cold snap that hit North Texas this week.
“I thought it felt really good,” Frederick said. “I think a lot of guys worked on really adjusting, wearing some similar to game-type stuff and just trying to get used to it and trying to figure out exactly what they’re going to do for the game. At least that’s what I did, and I thought it felt pretty good.”
