Rolando McClain Looks Strong in Return

McClain had eight tackles and a sack in the 30-6 loss to the Patriots

The return of Dallas Cowboys middle linebacker Rolando McClain was somewhat overshadowed first by the debut and performance of Greg Hardy--who was also suspended for the first four games of the season, and went on to post two sacks and five hits against Tom Brady--and then the 30-6 loss to the Patriots. But as far as returns go, it went pretty well.

McClain had eight tackles, including two for a loss and a sack in the loss. After the game, McClain admitted that it felt good to be back on the field, even if it came on as ugly of a day as Sunday at JerryWorld.

It was great,” McClain said, per ESPN Dallas. “Long four weeks. The score is what it is. You can’t change it. But when you can go out and play football that’s a good day. Look forward to the challenge. I think the rest of the guys look forward to the challenge, go out and face it. (The Patriots) are a great team, great team.

“We know the standard. They won the Super Bowl so they are the standard. We know the standard. We know we have to improve, so the next thing is going out and doing it.”
