Robert Turbin Signs with Colts

Turbin had 139 yards rushing in seven games for the Cowboys in 2015

We doubt any fans are shedding tears over it, but the Dallas Cowboys lost a running back to free agency on Tuesday.

With the Indianapolis Colts looking to shore up their backfield, on Tuesday they signed Robert Turbin, per the Indianapolis Star.

The longtime backup of Marshawn Lynch in Seattle, Turbin appeared in three games for the Cleveland Browns in 2015 before being waived and picked up by the Cowboys, where he appeared in seven games, and posted 139 yards on 32 carries.

Turbin’s best and most memorable day as a Cowboy came in the December 13 blowout loss to Green Bay, in which he had 51 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.
