Reports: Aaron Rodgers Will Practice Thursday

Rodgers hasn't practiced in the last two weeks as he deals with a hurt calf

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will go through team drills on Thursday despite having a slight tear in his calf, according to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen of ESPN. Prior to Thursday, it had only been reported that Rodgers was dealing with a strain in the calf.

Despite the injuries, Rodgers is fully expected to play in Sunday’s divisional round matchup with the Dallas Cowboys in Green Bay.

"There's no question he will play, but there's also no question he will not be 100 percent," an unnamed doctor close to the situation told ESPN.com this week. "The question is whether he'll be 95 percent or 50 percent."

Thursday will mark the first time Rodgers has participated in practice since before the team’s Week 17 matchup with the Detroit Lions, the game in which he originally injured the calf. But Rodgers said earlier this week that, at this point in his career, he’s confident in his ability to play at a high level without practicing much, if at all.
