It’s no secret that former Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray had a rough first season in Philadelphia, but was it rough enough to lead to a trade?

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it could. Rapoport reports that the Eagles are listening to trade offers for the unhappy Murray, though his contract could make the 2014 AP Offensive Player of the Year hard to move.

After all, it was less than a year ago that Murray signed a five-year, $42 million contract with the Eagles, which seemed a curious move by the end of the season, as Murray was essentially being phased out of the offense by Chip Kelly—the same man who brought him to Philly, and who is now in San Francisco.
