Report: Cowboys Won't Tender CB Sterling Moore

Moore has spent the past three seasons with Dallas

The Dallas Cowboys will not offer a tender to cornerback Sterling Moore, ESPN Dallas’s Todd Archer reports.

The move is somewhat surprising, because the Cowboys need strength at the cornerback position but, with their decision, Moore can go on and sign elsewhere.

Moore has spent the past three seasons with the Cowboys and, last year, he appeared in all 16 games (including seven starts), recording 46 tackles, 12 passes broken up and a forced fumble.

Before joining the Cowboys, Moore spent two years with the New England Patriots.
