Report: Cowboys Schedule Visit with Clemson DE Shaq Lawson

Lawson is widely expected to come off the board on the early side of the first round

In dire need of pass rush help, the Dallas Cowboys will host Clemson defensive end Shaq Lawson on a predraft visit to AT&T Stadium on April 5, according to Chase Goodbread of NFL Media.

Lawson has been staying very busy this offseason, and his schedule isn’t about to slow down.

Aside from meeting with the Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, Lawson will meet with the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers in the coming weeks, and he’s scheduled to go the Indianapolis to have an old shoulder injury looked at by the Colts’ medical staff. He also had dinner with the New Orleans Saints coaching staff the night before Clemson’s Pro Day.

Lawson led the nation in tackles for a loss last season with the Tigers, with 25.5. He’s scheduled to come off the board on the front end of the first round, but hasn’t been linked to the Cowboys in many mock drafts.
