Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray had his first career 1,000-yard season in 2014, and was rewarded with his first career Pro Bowl nod. But Cowboys running backs coach Gary Brown says the University of Oklahoma product is just getting started.

“He’s just scratched the surface. I think he’s one of the better backs in the league--he just has to go out and prove it now,” Brown said. “People now know his name, he’s been in the Pro Bowl--people are going to know who he is. So now it’s more of a challenge to go out and play well, and I think he’s going to go out and take that challenge full force and have another good season.”

Murray’s totals in 2014: 217 carries for 1,121 and nine touchdowns.

But his contribution wasn’t limited to the ground game. He also caught 53 passes for 350 yards and a score--his first career receiving touchdown and the difference in the team’s Week 16 comeback victory over the Redskins.
