Rangers Have Awful Day in Arizona

The Rangers hadn't had much to complain about or being concerned with so far in spring training.

They have one of the best records in Cactus League play (which we all know means nothing, but hey, wins are wins) and they've been smoking the ball with several high-scoring games.

On Thursday, the script was flipped on the Rangers in their 8-2 loss to the White Sox.

It all started early on, as starter Nick Martinez was awful and failed to record an out in the third inning before he was lifted after allowing seven runs on seven hits. There were miscommunications in the outfield and several of the Rangers' big hitters went hitless on the day.

You're really stretching to belly-ache if you're worrying about getting blown out in a spring training game, but with how well things had been going, Thursday had to have been fairly hard for the Rangers to swallow.
