Randle Still Doesn't Have Much to Say About TD Dive/Near Fumble

Joseph Randle drew the ire of coaches last Sunday when he used a dangerous move to get in the end zone against the Saints

On Thursday, Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle finally addressed his rushing touchdown that was almost a fumble against the Saints last week, very briefly anyway.

As you probably remember, in the first half of the overtime loss to the Saints, Randle dove over the top of a pile at the one-yard line. When he stretched the ball out over the goal line, it was slapped out and recovered by the Saints.

Replay showed Randle had clearly broken the plane, but touchdown or not, coaches were livid because, apparently, they had talked to Randle about not doing that move anymore the week before against the Falcons.

On Thursday, Randle was asked if head coach Jason Garrett has spoken to him about the incident this week.

Randle responded, "It wasn't the most fundamental thing to do, but I'm going to keep grinding."

Then, according to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News, he told the reporters present “I’ll be right back,” walked off and returned a couple of times only to grab stuff from his locker. Which we''ll interpret this as Randle saying he's ready to move on.
