With all the promise Cowboys rookie Dak Prescott has shown, he already passed a current legend. Prescott moved by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady for most passes thrown to start a career without an interception.
Brady's record of 162 passes to begin his career started in 2000 and that number held for 16 years until Prescott beat it late in the 1st quarter. The rookie quarterback hit Terrance Williams for a 15-yard pass which nudged his interception-less streak to 163.
Nobody in NFL history has thrown more passes without an interception to start a career than Prescott.
That number grew to 176. However, pass 177 was intercepted. Prescott's throw to Jason Witten was off the mark and Packers DB Morgan Burnett picked it off.
The throw didn't seem to phase the young quarterback. On the following drive, Prescott led the Cowboys down the field and tossed his third touchdown of the game to Cole Beasley.
