Power Rankings: NFC East

In a weekly post, we'll talk about where teams in the NFC East sit after each weekend of play.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (6-7) — The Eagles have won two straight games over two good teams and appear to be the best of a bad bunch in the NFC East right now. To add to that, the Eagles have the easiest remaining schedule in the division, so at this point, I think it's safe to make them the favorites to win the NFC Least. Next up: Sunday, 7:30 p.m., vs. Arizona Cardinals.

2. New York Giants (6-7) — The Giants are the next team to try to unseat the unbeaten Panthers this week, but there's a pretty great chance both them and the Eagles will lose. Still, we'll put them behind the Eagles based off remaining schedule even though they do have the best players in Eli Manning and Odell Beckham. Next up: Sunday, noon, vs. Carolina Panthers.

3. Washington Redskins (6-7) — The Redskins are home underdogs despite being pretty dang good at home this year (except for when the Cowboys visited a couple of weeks ago). It's still just hard to take them very seriously. Next up: Sunday, noon, vs. Buffalo Bills.

4. Dallas Cowboys (4-9) — A Cowboys win this week could very likely pull them to within one game of first place with two games to play, but a win will be hard to come by against a red-hot Jets team. A loss eliminates them from playoff contention. Next up: Saturday, 7:25 p.m., vs. New York Jets.
