Pitt DT Aaron Donald: “It'd be Great” to be a Cowboy

Donald has been linked the the Cowboys in countless mock drafts

Pittsburgh defensive tackle Aaron Donald thinks it would be great to play for the Dallas Cowboys, which is good, because he’s been linked to the team in mock drafts early and often by what seems like a solid majority of draft experts.

“I would love to play for anyone, but it would be great to play for them,” Donald said from the Combine in Indianapolis this weekend, per ESPN Dallas. “I love the way they play up front. They let their three-tech just go attack.”

Donald’s size might be a concern--he’s just 6-foot-1--but his performance at the Combine had to be encouraging for potential suitors, as he ran a 4.68 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds an impressive 35 times.

“I feel I can make an impact right away,” Donald said. “Earn the trust from the coaches, learn the playbook, get on the field right away and make an impact, earn the respect of the vets and try to get out there and win games with them.”

Donald finished his final season at Pitt with 10 sacks and 26.5 tackles for a loss.
