Texas traded for the former White Sox slugger in August of 2013 as it pushed for an AL West crown. But dragged down by injuries and a major power outage, Rios managed just 10 homers in 178 games over the last two seasons in playing his way out of the Rangers’ plans.

Shin Soo-Choo will be the right-fielder next season. The Rangers still aren’t sure about their everyday left-fielder.
