On Deck will be here all season to provide you with everything you need to know (and a few things you don't) about every postseason game during the 2015 season.
The Teams: The Panthers have been the best, most impressive team in football all year and have just one loss on their ledger heading into the Super Bowl. They have the favorite for NFL MVP honors in quarterback Cam Newton and a defense that isn't getting enough credit. Why aren't they? Well, that's because Denver's defense is probably the best in football and is fresh off a complete domination of Tom Brady in the AFC Championship Game.
Past Meetings: These teams have only met four times, and the Broncos have won three of those. Their last meeting was in 2012, which was a 36-14 Broncos win in Charlotte. Of course, Cam Newton wasn't in the NFL then, and Peyton Manning was with the Colts.

Who's Hot: Peyton Manning's numbers against the Patriots weren't the best, but he succeeded where it counted. He threw two touchdown passes and didn't turn the ball over. His two touchdowns were to tight end Owen Daniels, who caught two perfectly thrown balls for his only two catches of the game. Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware were monsters on the pass rush, combining for three sacks of Brady and constant pressure. They'll be looking to get to Newton and punish him early and often.
Good lord, the Panthers were unstoppable against the Cardinals, and it all started with Newton. The Panthers QB threw for 335 yards on 19 completions for two touchdowns and a pick while rushing for 47 yards and two touchdowns. Corey Brown and Greg Olsen each had 113 receiving yards for the Panthers. Luke Keuchly had his second straight playoff game with a pick-6.
Who's Not: Not much to say here about Denver, but their rushing game has left a lot to be desired lately. C.J. Anderson did rush for 72 yards against the Patriots and Ronnie Hillman added 16 on 11 carries.
Can't really say anything bad about Carolina right now, as the Panthers enter this game as an overwhelming favorite.
