On Deck: New York Jets

On Deck will be here all season to provide you with everything you need to know (and a few things you don't) about every Cowboys game during the 2015 season.

The Opponent: The Jets are 8-5 and are red-hot as winners of three straight games, including Sunday's demolition of the Titans. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been not only a serviceable quarterback for the Jets this year, he's been a really good one. Brandon Marshall and Chris Ivory are pretty great weapons at wide receiver and running back, respectively, and the supporting cast is strong, too.

Past Meetings: The Cowboys lead the all-time series 7-3 with the last meeting coming in 2011, a 27-24 Jets win.

Who's Hot: The Jets' version of the Triplets were all on their game in last week's win over the Titans. Fitzpatrick threw for 263 yards, three touchdowns and no picks, Chris Ivory ran for 101 yards and Marshall had 125 receiving yards with a score.

The Cowboys' running game was pretty good on Sunday in Green Bay, as Darren McFadden ran for 111 yards on nine carries and Robert Turbin had seven carries for 51 yards and a score, and the Cowboys' defense was good until they were just simply worn down late in the game.

Who's Not: Not much to say here for the Jets, who dominated the Titans, but they did allow more than 300 passing yards to the Titans, which isn't too surprising considering they threw the ball 40 times. Frankly, this is a pretty hot team coming to town.

Dez Bryant had one catch for 9 yards in an awful effort. Matt Cassel was just 13-for-29 for 114 yards and an interception that came in the end zone with a chance to take a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
