The Rangers have been quick to point out Josh Hamilton didn't suffer a setback in his attempt to come back from a bum, ailing knee that has required injection after injection and has been operated on three times since September.
But the timetable for his return did suffer a setback, as his original targeted May 1 return has been pushed back a couple of weeks.
"I think it just shows the nature of plans," Rangers assistant GM Thad Levine told The Dallas Morning News. "You just have to adjust along the way."

Hamilton will participate in the Rangers' Opening Day festivities before returning to Arizona to hit the ground running in his work up to being ready for the season as he missed all of spring training with the nagging knee.
At this point, any contribution from Hamilton will basically be seen as a bonus. You know, under-promise, over-deliver. Hamilton can't really lose.
