NFLPA Looking Into Possible Collusion Between Cowboys, Broncos?

The NFLPA seems to believe the teams have had contact regarding the contract situations of Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas

It was reported Friday that the NFL Players Association is looking into whether the Dallas Cowboys and the Denver Broncos had contact with each other regarding the contract situations of Dez Bryant and Demaryius Thomas, which would constitute collusion under the collective bargaining agreement.

The teams are much in the same boat, here.

Like Bryant, Thomas is an All-Pro. Also like Bryant, Thomas has yet to sign his franchise tender as he hopes for a long-term deal, avoided team workouts all offseason and has threatened to continue the holdout into and possibly beyond training camp. So we’d understand if the Broncos have looked southeast and wondered how the Cowboys are approaching THEIR disgruntled receiver situation, and vice versa.

But if at some point that wondering turned into talking, that’s a big ole labor no-no.

The Cowboys haven’t commented on the issue.

They and the Broncos have until Wednesday to get a long-term deal with their No. 1 receivers done.
