NFC East Watch: Washington's DeSean Jackson Arrives at OTAs

Jackson had been a no-show in the first two weeks of Redskins' OTAs

Washington Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson has joined the team for their third week of organized team activities (OTAs) after staying away from the technically voluntary workouts for the first couple of weeks, per ESPN's John Keim.

Washington’s official twitter account broke the news on Monday morning when they posted a picture of Jackson warming up next to cornerback DeAngelo Hall with the caption, “Ready to work.”

Granted, it’s not like Jackson’s absence had inspired much outrage.

These are voluntary practices after all, and Jackson has opted against attending such workouts in the months of May and June before. He did work out at Redskins Park earlier in the offseason, before OTAs began.

Limited to 9 games due to hamstring issues in 2015, Jackson had 30 catches for 528 yards and four touchdowns for the NFC East Champs.
