NFC East Watch: Ryan Clark Headed to DC

Clatk spent the past eight seasons with the Steelers

Veteran safety Ryan Clark is going to the Washington Redskins.

Clark, 34, spent the past eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning a Super Bowl with the team in 2008. He entered the league with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana State in 2002 and spent a couple seasons with New York and a couple seasons with the Redskins--those Redskins--before moving onto the Steelers.

Clark was awarded a Pro Bowl nod in 2011, when he recorded 100 tackles, a sack, five passes defended and an interception.

Last year, Clark was no slouch, though. He posted 104 tackles, four passes defended and two interceptions.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Clark’s deal with the Redskins is for one year.
