NBC 5 Football Minute: Euless Trinity

Expectations are high once again for Euless Trinity, but going into 2019, head coach Chris Jensen's Trojans have just three returning starters from a team that finished 10-2 a season ago.

"The kids expect to continue that and that's a good thing to have," Jensen said. "But we try to tell them you can't just slap a "T" on the side of your helmet and everything goes your way. Attitude's good, but we're not very good. Thank goodness for spring training because we've got the pieces, but we just need to get them in the right places and get them coached."

And those pieces include, as has become a Trojans' tradition, enormous size on the offensive and defensive lines, with Trinity expected to once again try to control games in the trenches.

"We've got some big boys," Jensen said. "But they also know that big is a good thing, but you've got to be able to play smart and know what you're doing too."
