NBC 5 Football Minute: Arlington High

The Arlington Colts are coming off a fantastic 2018 season, undefeated in the regular season and with a lot talent back for coach Scott Peach in 2019.

"We know that everybody's going to come after us and they're going to have to take the district championship away from us," said Arlington coach Scott Peach. "But we're excited about it, because in the same breath, that means they're thinking about us. We've got to find out what we're made of this spring, but good things are to come for Arlington High School."

Good things to come, especially with returning quarterback Jahari Rogers back, coming off a season in which he threw for 31 touchdowns and ran for 15 more.

"Any time you're talking about a second year quarterback, you know they're going to be outstanding," said Peach. "The next piece for him is to include him some defensively. He's got a good chance to play corner or defensive back in college, so we're going to work him out some there too. But I think the sky is the limit for him and there is no doubt this is his football team moving forward. We're 21-4 the last two years and he's been a part of both of those groups, and so we can't wait to see what's going to happen."
