Child Hand Transplant Recipient Throws First Pitch

After having the first double hand transplant and more than a year of therapy, 9-year-old Zion Harvey threw out the first pitch at Tuesday night's Rangers-Orioles game in Baltimore. Man, there are a lot of allergens in the air at the moment.

That Was Quick

It didn't take long for Canada's women's soccer team to score their first goal of the 2016 Olympic Games. Janine Beckie scored 20 seconds into their match, which is the fastest goal in Olympic history.

Yankees' 1B...Does Something

Not really sure what Yankee Mark Teixeira was doing here, but it appears he was trying some combination of playing first base, dancing and playing dodgeball.

Timberwolves phenom Andrew Wiggins posted on Instagram a preview of a dunk he's clearly been working on. While it looks like he missed the 720-degree attempt, he was close enough to be intrigued about the possibility of seeing it soon.

Reds first baseman Joey Votto reminded a Reds fan which team he was rooting for after the fan obstructed Votto's path to a foul ball Tuesday. Votto apparently felt bad after the inning, though, signing a ball for the fan and taking a picture with him.

Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers nonchalantly lobbed a 40-yard pass into a tiny net during a family night event at Lambeau Field Tuesday. No big deal.

Steelers edge rusher James Harrison tossed his kids into the pool during his day off Tuesday. This kid went so high he almost went out of the shot.

Padre Jose Rondon apparently wasn't satisfied with his first hit during Tuesday's game against the Brewers, so he hit it again on his way to first. The umpire wasn't impressed, though, calling Rondon out for interference.

A home run ball hit by Red Sox hitter Hanley Ramirez might be forever lodged in outfield netting in Seattle after a fan and a police officer were unable to remove it.

This guy owes the Dodgers' ballgirl... A fan on his phone in the first row at Dodger Stadium would've taken a 108.7-mph (according to Statcast) foul ball to the head if not for the alert ballgirl.

Disappearing Ball Trick

Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal likely didn't call for pitcher Ross Stripling to throw a ball into his chest protector Sunday, but that's what Stripling did. The umpire felt the ball was "out of play" long enough to allow a Diamondbacks runner on third to score.

Cubs Pitchers Show Skills in Walk-Off Win

The Cubs came back from a 6-run deficit to win 7-6 in extra innings Sunday thanks in part to this tough catch by Chicago left fielder Travis Wood, who's actually a pitcher. Then a few innings later...

Reds pitcher Homer Bailey was so upset about walking the bases loaded Sunday that he apparently forgot that the bases were loaded. The Padres' Wil Myers, who was on third base, was paying attention and stole home without a throw.

Finnish table tennis player Miikka O'Connor bent reality with this shot during the Finlandia Open 2015 international competition. Miikka lost 4-3 to Claus Nielsen, of Denmark.

Michael Young Ain't Clownin'

Michael Young evidently dislikes clowns, judging by his reaction Saturday to Elvis Andrus wearing a mask like the one warn in the Saw movies during Young's tour around the ballpark. Young had just been inducted into the Rangers' Hall of Fame.
