The Texas Rangers' best two run producers all season were their first base/designated hitter platoon of Mitch Moreland and Prince Fielder, which ended up being first base and DH-exclusive, respectively.

Right now, those two are two of the worst of a pretty bad bunch of hitters in the first four games of the ALDS against the Toronto Blue Jays, owners of the best lineup in baseball.

As bad as Fielder has been (2-for-16, one walk, three strikeouts), he's been made by Moreland to look like Babe Ruth.

Moreland has started three of the four games, and has played in all four. He's 0-for-10 in the series and hasn't even looked good on his outs. Fielder, on the other hand, hasn't been good, but if there's any silver lining it's that he's been hitting the ball hard lately on his outs, particularly with a couple of hot shots to center field on Monday that were run down by Jays center fielder Kevin Pillar.

Both need to get in a groove if the Rangers are going to win Game 5, especially Fielder, who has shown he can carry the offense as he's done a couple of times this year.
