McFadden Dealing with a Groin Injury

Darren McFadden is dealing with a strained groin going into this week's matchup with the Dolphins

After struggling with injuries for much of his first seven seasons in the NFL, Darren McFadden has managed stayed healthy for the most part here in 2015, his first season with the Dallas Cowboys.

But on Thursday, McFadden was limited with a strained groin, and listed on the injury report as such. He had participated fully in practice the day before, and Cowboys’ executive vice president Stephen Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News, they “still feel good” about the veteran’s chances of playing against the Dolphins.

McFadden came to Dallas as a free agent back in March, and won the starting job on the back of a 29-carry, 152-yard performance against the Giants back on October 25.

That game started a streak of three consecutive games with 20 or more carries for McFadden, the first such streak of his career.

The streak was snapped last week against the Bucs, as McFadden managed just 32 yards on 17 carries.
