Leonys Martin sent a screamer just over the right field wall late in Sunday's 2-0 win to give the Texas Rangers a little more breathing room over the Washington Nationals and salvage a win in the finale of a three-game set.

That home run gave Texas its first homer in the past six games — its first since May 25 when Michael Choice homered off Justin Verlander in the Rangers' 12-4 win over Detroit.

The power outage has been a big reason for the Rangers' scuffling offense this season as they actually have the third-best team batting average in all of baseball, and they are now third-to-last in all of baseball in total home runs with 35, ahead of St. Louis and Kansas City.

Guys like Adrian Beltre have not been hitting homers at their normal clip, and even Alex Rios, who's been phenomenal this season has just three long balls through the first third of the season.
