The Rangers have won 10 straight games against the Astros dating back to last season and all six meetings against their Silver Boot rivals this season.
A part of that success has been everyone's favorite Rangers bulldog, the great Colby Lewis. If the Rangers are going to push that streak to 11 games when the teams open a four-game set on Monday in Arlington, it's going to have a lot to do with Lewis.
Lewis' best start of this season — they've all been pretty darn good — came against Houston last month when he fanned six and walked none while allowing four hits over seven scoreless innings in Houston as part of a three-game sweep.
In 13 career starts, Lewis is a ridiculous 10-1 against the Astros with a 2.39 ERA and a .209 batting average against. Granted, some of those Astros teams were absolute garbage, but even since last year when the Astros were world beaters, he's been great against them.
