Laremy Tunsil Says He Models His Game After Tyron Smith

Tunsil is widely expected to be the first overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft

A lot has happened in the half decade since Tyron Smith was made the ninth overall pick of the 2011 Draft by the Dallas Cowboys. Namely, Smith has earned three Pro Bowl trips and a First Team All-Pro nod in those five seasons and has developed into of the most highly revered left tackles in football.

Now, a different sort of praise, in the form of the probable first overall pick in this year’s draft saying he models his game after that of Smith. Yes, the blue chip prospect has turned role model—and it’s worth noting that Smith is still just 25.

"I can be a mauler,” Ole Miss tackle Laremy Tunsil told NFL.com recently. “I model my game after Tyron Smith of the Dallas Cowboys. Man, if you see his footwork. The way he punch; the way he stones people.”

Oh, we’ve seen, Laremy. We’ve seen.
