Justin Durant Says He's Cleared For Offseason Workouts

Durant suffered a torn right bicep in Week 6 of the 2014 season

Dallas Cowboys linebacker and defensive captain in 2014, Justin Durant says he has been cleared to return to football activities after finishing the season on injured reserve with a torn right bicep.

Durant tweeted Wednesday morning that he’d be able to “fully participate in offseason workouts.”

Having spent the last two seasons with the team, the veteran Durant is one of the handful of Cowboys linebackers set to become free agents on March 10. In six games before suffering the biceps injury in 2014, he recorded 49 tackles, a pair of forced fumbles, four passes defensed and an interception.

In his two seasons in Dallas, he has 73 tackles in 16 games.
