Johnny Manziel: “Of Course” I'll Be Playing in 2016

Manziel was cut by the Browns on Friday and cleared waivers on Saturday

The Dallas Cowboys want no part of Johnny Manziel at the moment, and we’d imagine that’s not an unpopular feeling among NFL teams. But Manziel is apparently confident someone will pick him up.

Leaving The Nice Guy restaurant in West Hollywood recently, Manziel was asked by a TMZ reporter if we’d see him playing football in 2016.

Of course, my man,” Manziel told him.

Manziel was cut by the Browns on Friday, in a move that we’ve known was coming since at least January, and he cleared waivers on Friday.

The Cowboys came out and declared that they had no interest in the former Heisman Trophy winner not long after, which was necessary because after Jerry Jones came famously close to picking Manziel on Draft Day 2014, some fans simply refuse to believe Jones doesn’t still want the man they call Johnny Football in Dallas.
