Dallas Cowboys starter Matt Cassel had a rough, rough day in Green Bay on Sunday.

Aside from being absolutely crushed by Clay Matthews on one of the Packers’ two sacks of the day, Cassel completed just 13 of 29 passes for 114 yards, no touchdowns and an interception in the loss.

That’s a completion percentage of just under 45 percent, and Cassel’s total QBR was 6.8.

Afterward, Cassel got a vote of confidence each from Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett, but former Cowboys head coach Jimmy Johnson let it be known on the postgame that he thinks now is the time to see if Kellen Moore “can play at all,” per the Dallas Morning News.

It’s not an uncommon sentiment after watching Cassel fall to 1-5 as the Cowboys’ starter on the year, but obviously, it might carry more weight coming from a head coach that won two Super Bowls and set the team up for a third in the 1990s.

Moore spent three years as a backup in Detroit, but has yet to take a regular season snap in the NFL.
