Jerry on Sunday: “It's What I Built the Stadium For”

The Cowboys will face the Colts in their final home game of the regular season on Sunday

Big games like Sunday’s matchup between the Colts and the Cowboys are why Jerry Jones poured $2 billion into his stadium, Jones told reporters this week.

"To have this game right now for our home fans, and obviously the caliber of competition Indianapolis is, this is a serious, meaningful (game) for our franchise, meaningful for the last few years, meaningful for what we can do this year," Jones said, per Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas. "So, it’s what I built the stadium for."

While there’s no doubting that JerryWorld is an impressive place, the Cowboys haven’t exactly established a strong homefield advantage there. This season, while they’re 7-0 away from home, they’re just 3-4 at AT&T Stadium and haven’t won there since mid-October.
