Jason Witten Impressed With Ezekiel Elliott

The rookie has a fan in teammate Jason Witten. I'm speaking of fourth overall draft pick Zeke Elliott.

The team's all time leader in receptions has big expectations saying, "He's gonna have a great career. He's just gotta go to work right now."

Cowboys leader Jason Witten knows the club had a strong running game two years ago when DeMarco Murray helped the offense control the clock and keep an average Cowboys defense off the field.

Elliott was drafted to get Dallas back to 2014 when Murray was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

Witten's early camp review of Elliott is favorable. The tight end said, "He handles these situations, he excited you can tell he's talented. There's no light at the end of the tunnel for him."

The Cowboys have him running with the first team unit at camp and they are trying to get him to become the bell cow back they didn't have last season.

Witten is a future Hall of Famer and gave us more thoughts on what Elliott needs to do in his first NFL training camp, "He has the right approach, put his head and go to work, learn as much as we can. You see him in the walk through talking to Tony (Romo) and constantly getting on the same page so I think he'll make this transition."
