Jason Garrett's Message to Cowboys: “FIGHT”

The Cowboys have been wearing shirts that simply say "FIGHT" in training camp this year

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett wants a team of fighters, and he’s expressing that wish through t-shirts, which made their debut at this year’s edition of training camp.

Out in Oxnard, the Cowboys have been seen wearing shirts that simply read, “FIGHT” across the front. Garrett explained the new shirts recently.

“It's a fight to be your best," Garrett said. “It's not a fight to try your best, it's a fight to be your best, and there's a lot of things that go into being your best. Obviously we are all fighting for our team goals and what we want to accomplish.”

A few of the Cowboys have taken the message literally. In offseason workouts, defensive lineman Tyrone Crawford got into a scrape with center Travis Frederick. And over the weekend, in the first day of full-pads workouts of training camp, cornerback Morris Claiborne had a bit of a scuffle with receiver Terrance Williams.

The Cowboys weren’t doing any fighting on Sunday--they had the day off--but they got back to work (and fighting, we guess) on Monday.
