Jalen Ramsey Likes Idea of Battling Dez in Practice

Ramsey is on the short list of players the Cowboys are considering in the first round

Potential first round draft pick and former Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey seems pretty keen on the idea of going against Dez Bryant every day in practice, should he be taken by the Dallas Cowboys with the fourth overall pick on Thursday night.

The best want to go up against the best because iron sharpens iron,” Ramsey told Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday in Chicago. “If that’s the case, then me and Dez are gonna work each other. He’s gonna be the best receiver and I’m gonna be the best defensive back.”

Ramsey has been linked to the Cowboys through more than a few mock drafts, and he does seem to be on the short list of players the Cowboys are considering with their first pick, along with defensive ends Joey Bosa and DeForest Buckner, and running back Ezekiel Elliott.

Of course, this is assuming Jerry Jones doesn’t have a trick up his sleeve.

The first round of the draft kicks off on Thursday night in Chicago.
