Jack Crawford Returns to Hometown of London

Defensive end Jack Crawford was born and raised in London

This week in London marks a homecoming for Dallas Cowboys’ defensive end Jack Crawford.

Crawford was raised in London and remained there until his high school years, when he came to the US, picked up football and eventually was offered a scholarship to Penn State.

I was the first ever to get drafted out of here and that was special,” Crawford said, per ESPN Dallas. “I mean it’s crazy to think about it, but yeah I think I’ll get a lot of appreciation from my fellow Englishmen.”

Receiver Dez Bryant believes Crawford will get a lot of attention and appreciation from the locals as well, and has designs on soaking up some of the runoff love.

“I guarantee he is going to be very popular,” Bryant said of Crawford. “He’s the man of the town right now. I’m going to follow him around.”
